ATTOCK (NNP) Three persons among them teenage sibling drowns in two different incidents in two different parts of Attock on Tuesday, Police and rescue 1122 sources said.
In the first incident three perons of the same family drown in river Indus in Bagh Neelab area in the limits of Attock Police station on the second day of Eid. As father Khurrum Shahzad along with his 17 years old son Shaheer and 12 years old daughter Warda went in to water to.enjoy bathing, Warda loses control and starts drowning for which her brother went to save her but also loses control and started drowning. Looking his children in distress, thier father went to rescue them however he failed so. Meanwhile, local boat owner joined the rescue work and took out Khurrum safely from deep waters, retrevie the body of Shaheer but body of the girl was not found till filing this news report. The body of the deceased was shifted by rescue 1122 team to.district headquarters hospital Attock.
Moreover, a 16 years old boy drowns in Ghazi Brotha water channel in Adalzai area in the limits of Hazro Police station on . Police and rescue sources said that victim Afzal Shah went to water channel for picnic to celebrate Eid where he loses control and drowned. It may be mentioned that district administration Attock has imposed section 144 and banned bathing and swimming in water channels but the same is ignored by public especially youth.
