Islambad(NNP)As the call to Suhoor echoed across Punjab, a welcome change in the weather greeted residents. Lahore and various cities in the province experienced a pleasant shift, courtesy of rain showers and cool breezes.
Reports from Dunya News highlighted a mix of light and heavy rainfall in Muridke, Sheikhupura, Nankana Sahib, Safdarabad, Jardanwala, Faisalabad, Chiniot, Toba Tek Singh, Kamonki, among others. The clouds also bestowed their blessings upon Okara, Jhang, Bahawalpur, Rainala Khurd, Kot Udo, Bhalwal, Kabirwala, and Hafizabad.
While the majority of the country anticipates dry weather, the Meteorological Department forecasts partly cloudy skies in the upper regions. There’s a possibility of light rain in Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, and nearby mountainous areas, offering a refreshing respite from the dry spell.
With rain gracing the dawn hours, Suhoor preparations were accompanied by the soothing rhythm of falling droplets, promising a day of cool relief from the summer heat.
