HBL PSL 9 season trophy unveiled

Lahore:In a preparation for the HBL-Pakistan Super League-9, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has unveiled the lineup of match officials for the upcoming tournament. Spanning four venues from February 17th to March 18th, the league promises an exciting series of matches.

With Lahore and Multan hosting 14 matches initially, followed by Karachi and Rawalpindi staging 16 matches, cricket enthusiasts are in for a treat. The officials for the Qualifier, eliminators, and final in Karachi from March 14th to 18th will be announced later.

 

The officiating team boasts a blend of experience and talent, featuring members from the ICC’s elite panel of umpires alongside skilled local and foreign umpires. Notable figures such as Richard Illingworth, Chris Gaffaney, Ahsan Raza, and Michael Gough will be joined by a cadre of adept officials.

Roshan Mahanama, a veteran in the field, will lead the team of match referees, ensuring fair play throughout the tournament. The opening match between Lahore Qalandars and Islamabad United will see the seasoned umpire Aleem Dar and Michael Gough in action, supported by a capable team of officials.
