The People’s Party has thrown its weight behind former Chief Minister Abdul Qudous Bizenjo, while the Muslim League-N has pinned its hopes on former Federal Minister Mir Dostin Domki. JUI has fielded Abdul Shakoor as its contender, while BAP has put forth Kahda Babar and Mubeen Khalji as their party nominees. Adding to the mix, Syed Mehmood Shah and Mir Hirbyar Domki are testing their luck as independents.
Polling is scheduled to take place in the Balochistan Assembly from 9 am to 4 pm today, with strict regulations in place prohibiting the entry of mobile phones or cameras into the polling stations.
