ISLAMABAD, Nov 13 :The latest medal standings have been released for the ongoing Islamic Solidarity Games 2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, showcasing impressive performances from participating nations.
Türkiye continues to dominate the event, securing the top position with a total of 91 medals including 51 gold, 24 silver, and 16 bronze reflecting its sporting supremacy at the Games.
Uzbekistan ranks second with 46 medals (2 gold, 15 silver, 17 bronze), while Egypt stands third with 27 medals (3 gold, 10 silver, 6 bronze). Kazakhstan has also displayed commendable performance with 34 medals, including 9 gold, 12 silver, and 13 bronze.
Representing Pakistan, a 54-member contingent is participating in various disciplines and has so far won two bronze medals, placing the country 28th overall. Pakistani athletes continue to show determination and promise, with hopes for additional medals in upcoming events.
Iran has secured 31 medals (7 gold, 8 silver, 16 bronze), while the host nation, Saudi Arabia, has claimed 21 medals (5 gold, 1 silver, 15 bronze), demonstrating strong performances across multiple sports. Indonesia follows with 23 medals, and Azerbaijan has earned 34 medals, further intensifying the competition.
Despite the spirited contests, 16 countries including Afghanistan, Brunei, Benin, and Chad have yet to secure a single medal, highlighting the fierce level of competition at the Games.
A total of 57 countries are participating in the Islamic Solidarity Games 2025, featuring diverse sporting events aimed at fostering unity, athletic excellence, and cultural exchange among Islamic nations.
