Islamabad (General Reporter) Senior umpire Saleem Sadiq Butt, a prominent figure in the sports community, has said that 2024 left with good memories in terms of sports, players and sports activities. Arshad Nadeem of Mian Channu made the countrymen happy by hoisting the green crescent flag at the international level. In a special interview, he said that there is immense talent in all four provinces including Azad Kashmir, Gilgit and Baltistan and Islamabad. If new players get the roses of government patronage and guidance, then the pearls of Gudri can raise the Pakistani flag high at the provincial, national and international levels. Senior umpire Saleem Sadiq Butt said that the first and second editions of the Kashmir Premier League have proven that the beloved homeland is rich in talent. If stadiums are built in different districts including Muzaffarabad, Bagh, Kotli and Rawalakot, this region can provide new players for national cricket. Saleem Butt has said that the provincial governments along with the Azad Kashmir and federal governments should release sports funds to schools, colleges and universities to introduce talent from the grassroots. The sports budget will brighten the educational environment with sports activities like in the past.
