Solo and strong: Hailey Bieber glows at beauty summit, Justin sparks concern

Hailey Bieber leaned into her booming business empire, appearing poised and professional at the Business Of Beauty Global Forum 2025 in Napa Valley, though speculation over husband Justin Bieber’s recent erratic behaviour and their marriage on the rise.

The 28-year-old model and entrepreneur took centre stage at the luxury event following the massive $1 billion sale of her skincare brand, Rhode, to Elf Cosmetics.

Dressed in a leopard-print mini dress and black kitten heels, Hailey sat down for a conversation with Business of Beauty executive editor Priya Rao, drawing praise for her confidence and style.

Noticeably absent from the event was Justin, as rumours swirl over his mental health and their relationship.

However, Hailey was supported by close friend Justine Skye, who snapped a candid shot of the star and proudly labelled her a ‘mogul’ on Instagram.

Hailey’s trip comes on the heels of Justin’s June 9 social media outburst, where he snapped at concerned fans commenting on his well-being. Responding to a meme suggesting “heartbreak” in his life, the pop star shot back: “Worry about yourself, gramps.”

The 30-year-old singer, who was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome in 2023 and has stepped back from performing, later posted religious messages about forgiveness and freedom. Some fans found his tone inspiring – others compared it to Kanye West’s unpredictable online behaviour. Speculation about substance abuse resurfaced, though Justin’s reps deny any drug problems.

Meanwhile, Hailey, who welcomed baby Jack Blues with Justin in August 2024, has subtly acknowledged the strain. In a recent Instagram caption, she originally referenced “Lemon drop martinis and therapy all summer long,” before editing out the mention of therapy.

Despite it all, she’s been pushing forward with her career, gracing the cover of Vogue and retaining a creative leadership role at Rhode post-sale. However, her husband’s reaction (or lack thereof) to her achievements has raised eyebrows.

On the same day her Vogue cover was revealed, Justin posted a now-deleted message recalling a past argument where he told Hailey she’d “never be on the cover.” While he later apologized in the caption, fans criticised it as a ‘backhanded compliment’ and ‘tone-deaf’.  He eventually replaced the message with emojis.

Adding to the tension, Justin did not publicly congratulate Hailey after the billion-dollar deal was announced, only reposting the news in silence. Hailey celebrated the milestone without him, enjoying a girls’ night out in West Hollywood.

Hailey and Justin have been married since 2018, and while she continues to present a composed front professionally, the contrast between her rising public profile and Justin’s unstable online presence is fueling speculation. As one fan put it bluntly online: “I’m not worried about Justin. I’m worried about Hailey.”
