Report on 3-Day TOT for District Master Trainers on ECD Parenting

From 24 June,2025-26 June , 2025 the SUN Secretariat P&DD AJK, in collaboration with the Nutrition cell ,Department of Health AJK, conducted a three-day Training of Trainers (TOT) focused on Early Childhood Development (ECD) parenting at Neelum View Hotel, Muzaffarabad, AJK. This comprehensive training session brought together health managers and participants from all districts to discuss the key Family Care Parenting Package developed by UNICEF, aimed at promoting the holistic growth and development of children to help them reach their full potential. Dr. Saba Shuja, ECD Manager at UNICEF, facilitated the sessions alongside Provincial Facilitator Dr. Hina Rashid, SUN Consultant AJK, and Provincial Master Trainers Mohammad Kifayat and Fozia Jabeen. The training encompassed engaging group work sessions and culminated in the development of district cascade training work plans by the participants, aimed at ensuring effective trickle-down training in their respective districts. The collaborative effort was a significant step toward enhancing early childhood care practices across the region.
