Renowned Poet Honored with Gold Medal at Prestigious Book Competition

At a recent ceremony in Attock, Mr. Muhammad Yaqoob Ferdowsi of Bhalwal District Sargodha, a prolific author and poet with a repertoire of 60 books to his name, was celebrated for his literary contributions. As the Patron-in-Chief of Tehreek Islah Messarah and Head of Sartaj Sakhan organization, Mr. Ferdowsi’s work has left an indelible mark on the literary landscape.

The highlight of the event was the inclusion of Mr. Ferdowsi’s book, “Sobh Ainda,” in the prestigious book competition, a testament to his enduring talent and dedication to the craft. In a moment of true recognition, Mr. Ferdowsi was awarded the coveted Gold Medal, further solidifying his status as a luminary in the world of literature.

 

The ceremony was graced by esteemed guests, including Deputy Director of HCRN Lahore, Mr. Dr. Rashid Kalyami, a multifaceted individual renowned for his prowess as a writer, researcher, and poet. Joining him were other honorable guests such as Tafakhir Mahmood Gondal, MZ Kanwal Sahiba, Dr. Nighat Chaudhry, and Prof. Dr. Fakhira Shuja, all of whom added to the aura of prestige surrounding the event.
