Punjab Govt to withdraw decision to appoint junior officer as Chief Conservator: Malik Shafi

Islamabad (City Reporter) Malik Muhammad Shafi, an elderly person who has been active in national services for forty-seven years in the Forest Department of Punjab, has called the appointment of a 19 Grade junior officer for the post of Chief Conservator of Grade 20 as opening the door to corruption in the Forest Department, Rawalpindi. Declaring it synonymous, they have demanded to withdraw the appointment and appoint Senior Forest Officer Muhammad Ayaz in his place. While giving a press conference at the National Press Club, Malik Muhammad Shafi alleged that the junior and irresponsible Iftikhar in the Punjab Forest Department. Al Hasan Farooqui has been appointed Chief Conservator against the law, currently this post is for Gradebase, but since he has the support of an important and powerful political figure of Punjab, a senior and honest officer Muhammad Niaz has been bypassed, he added. Iftikhar Al Hasan Farooqui is a defaulter of the government who is not qualified for this important position in any case. This unfair and illegal appointment is not only destroying the rights of honest and qualified officers, but it is also causing corruption in the Rawalpindi Forestry Department.
