Quetta (NNP) Senate election in Balochistan, nine out of eleven candidates secured uncontested victories. Seven candidates won general seats, while two women candidates were elected unopposed. The remaining two technocrat seats will see a contest among three candidates, with voting scheduled for April 2. Elected unopposed were prominent figures including former caretaker prime minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar, Sardar Nasir of the PML-N, and others from various political parties. Rahat Jamali and Hasina Bibi clinched the women’s seats.
