Muhammad Aurangzeb Farooq Ramde belongs to Chak 705 GB Tabi Toba Tek Singh. He is the grandson of former Lahore High Court Judge Chaudhry Muhammad Siddique Ramde and the son of former Attorney General Farooq Ramde.
The Federal Finance Minister is the brother of former Advocate General Punjab Raza Farooq Ramde and son-in-law of former judge Supreme Court Justice (retd) Khalil Ramde.
Muhammad Aurangzeb Farooq Ramde became a federal minister as a technocrat, he was a citizen of Holland and has applied for restoration of Pakistani citizenship.
According to the sources, the recommendation of the finance minister to restore the Pakistani citizenship has been approved in the first cabinet meeting.
