Muzaffarabad:The Kashmir Orphan Relief Trust (KORT) has inked a groundbreaking agreement with the Government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) to pioneer the establishment of the region’s first-ever Burn Care Centre at DHQ Kotli.
Under the watchful eyes of KORT Chairman Choudhary Mohammed Akhtar and Health Minister Nisar Ansar Abdali, the agreement was officially sealed in Muzaffarabad. The momentous occasion witnessed the signing by Special Secretary Health Dr. Abdul Sittar and KORT Country Director Sardar Sajid Dilawar Khan.
The wheels of progress are already in motion, with construction work having commenced. The eagerly anticipated 20-bed facility is poised to commence operations by the close of 2024.
