Kazakhstan, Pakistan Seek Closer Cooperation in Legal Sector

Islamabad, December 29, 2025: Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to Pakistan, H.E. Mr. Y. Kistafin, met with the President of the Supreme Court Bar Association of Pakistan, Mr. Haroon Ur Rashid, along with other members of the organization to discuss ways to deepen bilateral cooperation.During the meeting, Ambassador Kistafin highlighted ongoing efforts to expand collaboration between Kazakhstan and Pakistan, stressing the importance of strengthening ties in the legal sphere through exchanges of experience and joint study of both countries’ legal systems.Mr. Rashid welcomed the proposals and underscored the value of building closer links between the legal communities of the two countries.Both sides agreed to facilitate delegation visits in 2026 and begin preparing the necessary documents for future agreements.
