The DG ISPR is briefing on Tuesday about the attack on the Jafar Express and the operation to recover the passengers.
The DG ISPR said that a very difficult area was selected for terrorism, the terrorists stopped the Jafar Express through an ID explosion, the terrorists were in several groups, one group kept children and women inside the train, the terrorists made the rest of the passengers sit outside, the passengers brought out of the train were made to sit on the ground. Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said that a warfare started in support of these terrorists, which was being led by the Indian media, before the train incident, the terrorists attacked the FC check post.
He said that fake videos were made on social media using artificial intelligence, Indian media kept propagating through fake videos, the issue was being exaggerated in Indian media through artificial intelligence, Indian media also played old videos taken from social media, Indian media was playing old videos given by terrorist groups, Indian analysts were creating a narrative by showing AI images and videos given by terrorist groups. He said that the next important thing was that in the evening, the terrorists released a group of hostages, an attempt was made to give the impression that as if we had released them, the terrorists were monitored and engaged and then they were killed. DG ISPR said that the terrorists were in contact with their handlers in Afghanistan, some hostages escaped from there when they got the chance, the terrorists also kept firing on the escaping hostages.
