Islamabad ( NNP ) The sixth session of Allama Iqbal Study Circle Australia was held in Sydney on the evening of Friday, May 3, 2024, in which a large number of intellectuals participated. The meeting was held at the house of Tariq Mirza. Dr. Khurram Kayani moderated, he explained the virtue of knowledge and said that knowledge gives light, wisdom and greatness to humanity. The Quran was recited by Adeel Shakoor. Shafqat Ali, the educationist, explained the importance of conveying Iqbal’s message to the youth. The highlight of the evening was Tariq Mirza’s talk. He explained the Allama Iqbal’s philosophy of Khudi (self) from various different angles . Tariq Mirza said in his speech, “Allama Iqbal’s philosophy is both difficult to understand and explain, but once you begin to understand it, it is more difficult to get out of his spell. This thought puts a person on the path of self-recognition, the search for the universe and understanding of the relationship with the creator Lust encourages the conquering of the universe. It makes a person understand the purpose of life and the mission to achieve it. He who understands this philosophy has understood the purpose of life. Tariq Mirza also quoted Quran and Hadith to explain Iqbal’s philosophy. This insightful message that awakened the heart and soul not only cultivated the intellectuals of the audience but also lit the candle of self-realization and soften the hearts. President of the event, Noor Muhammad said, “Tariq Mirza has refreshed our faith by giving such a heartwarming talk. One is mesmerized by listening to this talk. The Alama Iqbal Study Circle is committed to the mission of popularizing Iqbal’s thought in Australia.
