Islambad (NNP) French Ambassador Nicolas Galey recently paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, presenting a congratulatory letter from French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal on his re-election. Discussions centered on enhancing cooperation, particularly in trade and investment, with the Prime Minister inviting French companies to invest in Pakistan. Both sides also addressed the situation in Gaza and Afghanistan, with Prime Minister Sharif emphasizing the stabilization of the economy as a top priority. Ambassador Galey expressed France’s eagerness to collaborate closely with Pakistan in multilateral forums, including the United Nations.
