Central Senior Vice President of the National Peace Committee for Interfaith Harmony of Pakistan, Aamir Naseer Rajput, has expressed concern over the recent attacks on Gaza

By Muhammad Iqbal Tabassum, a prominent political and social leader and Central Senior Vice President of the National Peace Committee for Interfaith Harmony of Pakistan, Aamir Naseer Rajput, has expressed concern over the recent attacks on Gaza, stating that the martyrdom of innocent Palestinians calls for action from international human rights organizations. He contends that there is a stain on the reputation of intellectuals and humanity due to the ongoing tragedy. According to Rajput, the United Nations Security Council has made efforts to halt the human tragedy in Palestine, but thousands of Palestinians have lost their lives as a result of Israel’s aggression. He further criticizes the alleged excessive cruelty of the occupying Indian army in Palestine and Occupied Kashmir. Despite Muslims facing instability worldwide, those claiming to champion world peace and human rights are, in his view, remaining silent spectators. Rajput laments the perceived lack of concern from the United Nations Security Council regarding the violation of human and fundamental rights of Muslims in Gaza, Palestine, Kashmir, and globally. Despite the annual celebration of Human Rights Day by the United Nations, he expresses disappointment that, even after more than seven decades, the organization has not shown adequate respect for Palestinians and Kashmiris and has failed to protect their rights. Rajput concludes by emphasizing the urgent need for a resolution to the prolonged conflicts in occupied Kashmir and Palestine, calling for the United Nations to play a more effective role in ensuring justice for the affected populations.
