Islamabad: China plans to set up more than 22 Centers of Excellence in Pakistan to provide advanced technical and vocational training along with Chinese language proficiency. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Pakistan’s National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) and China’s TANG International Education Group.Under the guidance of Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, the MoU emphasizes the commitment of both nations to support each other in their development journey. This initiative aims to develop a skilled workforce capable of meeting the demands of modern industries while fostering innovation through Pakistan-China collaboration.The signing ceremony was attended by Federal Minister Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Minister Counselor of the Chinese Embassy Yang Guangyuan, Federal Secretary for Education Mohyuddin Ahmad Wani, NAVTTC Chairperson Gulmina Bilal Ahmad, President of the All Pakistan Chinese Enterprises Association (APCEA) Wang Huihua, President of TANG International Li Jinsong, CEO of TANG International Pakistan Song Jianying, and Chief Operating Officer of TANG International’s Overseas Operation Center Qiu Haitao.
