Mardan (NNP) A bomb hidden inside a pressure cooker was safely defused by police in Takht Bhai, preventing a potential disaster.
The local children,who quickly informed the police. Responding immediately, District Police Officer (DPO) Mardan Zahoor Babar Afridi, along with Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Takht Bhai Circle Shakeel Khan, Station House Officer (SHO) Saro Shah Darwaish Hassan Khan, and Bomb Disposal Squad Incharge Inspector Nadeem Akhtar, arrived at the scene.
The bomb disposal squad acted carefully, neutralizing the threat and saving the area from major incident.
The police are now investigating the incident to find out who was behind the bomb. The DPO praised the children for their quick thinking and the police team for their quick and effective response.
