“D Chowk” has been the center of attention of the whole world since last week. What happened here on November 25 and 26, continued to happen, the national and international media showed everything. There are still conflicting reports about D Chowk. PTI claims that Rangers and police fired live shots here. Many people were killed and injured. While government sources and federal ministers are still denying this matter. There are many contradictions in the claims made by PTI leaders about the casualties. Surprisingly, PTI is yet to release any list of the names of the killed and injured workers. The names of the dead and injured are not confirmed until they are made public. We cannot declare these claims and news as true. The media is also silent till now. His reporters and sources are unable to confirm the death toll. The information that social media is providing is not trustworthy. Social media can do anything in the name of freedom of expression. No one will ask them. 24 hours out of 24 hours, lies are being told and sold on social media. Rumors and rumors are spread. The PTI had come out to protest with three demands. It was supposed to reach D Chowk on November 24 and camp there until the demands were accepted. D Chowk is the main historical thoroughfare of Islamabad with many government buildings around it. The President’s House, Prime Minister’s House, Parliament House and the Supreme Court are also located here, which add to the grandeur of D Chowk. It has become a tradition for religious and political parties that if they want to protest, pick a highway as their axis and center for sit-ins and demonstrations, they generally choose D Chowk in Islamabad. Demonstrations or protests in Lahore often take place outside Charing Cross or Lahore Press Club. These two places are chosen in Lahore for political demonstrations. While such protests or demonstrations are in Pindi, D Chowk is their destination. Islamabad is very important in the sense that the federal government is established here, whose secretariat and central offices are located here. The entire bureaucracy that runs Pakistan is also located here. While the embassies of 57 countries are also in Islamabad. Even if there is a small issue here, the whole world gets to know about it. PTI chose D Chowk for its protest and sit-in against founder PTI’s eme to convey its voice not only to the federal government and the establishment but to the entire world. Towards the end of October, it was decided in consultation with the Founder PTI, that there would be a protest, and the dharna was also made a part of this protest. The date and place have also been determined that on November 24, a dharna is to be held in D Chowk until the demands are accepted. When November started, PTI’s media cell started running news about protests and sit-ins. Since PTI is the government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, it was already decided that Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur would lead from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. There will be a big convoy which will reach D Chowk through different citiesAnd will stay here until the demands are approved. Many efforts were made, the government opened the jail on a holiday, sent top PTI leaders to Adiala to convince the founder to call off the D Chowk protest and dharna. A sit-in, if intended and very necessary, may be held at the Singjani location on the outskirts of the Capitol. On which the government will have no objection. Formal permission will also be given for this, but the leaders could not persuade the founder to do so. Not only the government and the establishment, the entire nation was waiting for November 24, what is going to happen on that day. What kind of bomb will explode that everything will be swept away and their demands will be accepted, which were now being discussed frequently in the media. One of the three demands put forward by the PTI was the immediate release of the PTI founder. The 26th constitutional amendment should be withdrawn and the third demand was to return the electoral mandate taken away on February 8. In case the three demands were not accepted, a protest and sit-in at D Chowk was threatened. All three demands of PTI were unacceptable from the government’s point of view. could not be believed. Analysts were also commenting and analyzing these “demands” that fall into the category of non-compliance. However, PTI had faith and trust that lakhs of people would be on the streets on the call of the founder to the nation. D Chowk will see such a huge gathering that human history has never seen before. Finally, November 24 came which was the deadline for PTI to protest and reach D Chowk. A large procession led by Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Bushra Bibi, wife of the founder, came out to approve the demands. However, during this time there was complete silence and silence in Sindh and Punjab. There was no statement or preparation from the provincial leadership of both provinces, there was a complete blackout. The provincial leadership remained absent from the scene. As a precautionary measure, the federal government and the provincial government of Punjab had blocked all roads leading to Islamabad with containers and there was a massive blockade that stopped all forms of transport. Flights were also affected due to lack of traffic. The citizens were facing a lot of difficulties. Even ambulances could not take the sick to the hospital during this time. As the supply of petrol stopped, the petrol pumps were also closed. Due to which all business life was suspended in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including the federal capital. This whole situation made us laugh in the world. Who lost what, what found! Only time will tell, but Pakistan, which is moving forward, cannot afford such incidents now. We cannot forget the role of the army. If there was no army, there could have been a major tragedy at D Chowk.
