Islamabad (NNP) UC 53 – The Pakistan Awami Quwat Party has announced its panel for the upcoming local body elections. Chairman Khaqan Waheed Khawaja, a former National Assembly candidate for Constituency NA 48, criticized the lack of basic facilities in the federal capital. He highlighted the absence of clean drinking water, educational institutions, and employment opportunities for the youth, contrasting this with the privileges enjoyed by political leaders. Khawaja expressed a commitment to serving the community, emphasizing the need for patriotism and hard work to transform the country’s destiny. He condemned the corrupt elements in power, asserting that despite Pakistan’s nuclear and agricultural capabilities, the nation still struggles economically.
