PM Azad Kashmir Commemorates Youm e Takbeer, Emphasizes Nuclear Power Status and Kashmiri Resolve Against Indian Aggression

Muzaffarabad: Congratulating the nation on Youm e Takbeer, Prime Minister Azad Kashmir Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq has said that May 28 marks a historic day when Pakistan became the world’s seventh nuclear power and the first Muslim country to have nuclear arsenal.

In his special message the AJK premier said that Pakistan carried out six nuclear tests successfully in response to India’s five nuclear explosions while rejecting all the pressure from influential word headquarters.

Describing Pakistan as a center of hope for the Kashmiri people, prime minister Haq said that successful nuclear tests not only made the country’s defense impregnable but also boosted the morale of the Kashmiri people on sides of the cease-fire line (LoC).

“We have full faith in Pakistan army and their capability to defend the country”, he added.

Referring to the India’s expantionist designs and state repression against Kashmiris, he said that Indian government has broken all records of savagery in occupied Kashmir.

He, however, maintained that despite relentless repression India has miserably failed to subjugate Kashmiris.

Kashmiri people, he said, have neither bowed down before the Indian state repression nor would they succumb to it’s barbarism and brutality in future.

He warned India of dire consequences provided it didn’t stop its aggression.

Stressing the need for early settlement of the Kashmir dispute the PM said that Indian leadership must realize the ground reality that lasting peace in region was inescapably linked to the settlement of the age-old Kashmir dispute that has been the root cause of tension in the region.
