ATTOCK (NNP) The Police on Thursday foiled a bid to smuggle a huge cache of narcotics smuggling from KP to Punjab worth millions of rupees and arrested a member of interprovincial racket of narcotics smuggler. The Police spokesman has said that acting on a tip off, a police party led by Sub Inspector Khanzada Sheroiz has intercepted a loader rickshaw loaded with scrap on GT road near Attock Khurd and during search recovered 28 kilogram of hashish and 500 grams of ice packed under scrap. Police arrested the rickshaw driver identified as Shumail Khan- an Afghan national presently living in Peshawar. The spokesman has said that during the preliminary interrogation, he confessed being a member of an interprovincial racket of narcotics smuggling and was attempting to supply the narcotics to the different cities in the guise of scrap dealer.
