The Pakistan Cricket Team Management has announced their 11-member squad for the Sydney Test match against Australia starting on Wednesday.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced the details of the playing XI on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday. Opener Imam-ul-Haq has been dropped due to his poor performance, and will be replaced by aggressive left-handed batsman Saeem Ayub as the opener.
Spinner Sajid Khan has been introduced in the playing XI for the third and final Test while fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi has been rested. The playing XI for the Sydney Test match includes captain Shaan Masood, Saeem Ayub, Abdullah Shafiq, Babar Azam, Saud Shakeel, Muhammad Rizwan, Salman Ali Agha, Sajid Khan, Hasan Ali, Mir Hamza and Amir Jamal.
The host team has a two-nil lead in the three-Test series between Pakistan and Australia
