Mardan: The Combination of Education and Practical Skills is the Key to Success

Mardan : Education and practical skills go hand in hand, playing a vital role in ensuring an individual’s success. While education imparts awareness and values, practical skills teach how to apply knowledge in real life. These views were expressed in a joint statement by Dr. Junaid Noor, Chairman of the non-governmental organization MALIK Foundation, and Engineer Syed Sher Shah, the Foundation’s President.

They announced that the MALIK Foundation has launched the Skills Development Program (MSDP), which will continue until October 7, 2025. This program has been designed in collaboration with various English and technical institutes in Mardan, with the aim of equipping youth with modern education and skills.

The program includes training in English language, computer courses, digital marketing, graphic design, web design, e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Shopify), accounting, AutoCAD, air ticketing, medical diplomas, video editing, land and quantity surveying, hotel management, and safety courses, among other modern skills.

According to Sher Shah, all these courses will be offered with scholarships ranging from 60% to 100%. He said that this initiative is a revolutionary step to provide young people not only with education but also with the essential skills needed for employment and success in practical life.

Eligible candidates for admission include matric pass students and madrassa students. The classes will be conducted in the designated institutes during the evening, while the digital marketing course will be held online.
