Delegation of Religious Scholars Led by Maulana Saeed Yousuf Meets IIUI President

Islamabad (NNP) A distinguished delegation of religious scholars, led by Saeed Yousuf, former Member of the Board of Governors of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), called on the President of IIUI, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed, at his office in the university’s New Campus in H-10 today (Tuesday).

Saeed Yousuf, who also serves as the Ameer of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Jammu and Kashmir and Vice President of Wifaq-ul-Madaris Al-Arabiya Pakistan, was accompanied by prominent religious figures Maulana Qari Jahangir Naqshbandi, Central Assistant Director of Elections, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Jammu and Kashmir,Maulana Tanveer Alvi, Principal, Jamia Muhammadiya, Islamabad, Mufti Owais, Vice-Chancellor, Jamia Zakaria, Islamabad, Maulana Amin, Khatib, Kahuta, Mufti Inam-ul-Haq, Khatib, Jamia Masjid Syedna Ali Al-Murtaza, Rawalpindi, Maulana Sagheer Rabbani, Ameer, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Jammu and Kashmir, Rawalpindi,and Maulana Wajid Kashmiri, Deputy Secretary General, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Jammu and Kashmir.

During the meeting, matters related to Islamic education, academic collaboration, and religious harmony were discussed.

The President of IIUI welcomed the delegation and emphasized the university’s commitment to promoting traditional Islamic scholarship in conjunction with contemporary academic excellence.

The visiting scholars appreciated IIUI’s role in serving the Muslim Ummah through modern and Islamic education and expressed their desire to further strengthen cooperation between religious institutions and the university.
