The caretaker government has announced that petrol prices will remain unchanged for a fortnight, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Thursday.
Talking to the media, the federal government decided to decrease the prices of high-speed diesel and light-speed diesel by Rs7 per litre and Rs4.52 per litre respectively.
The rate of kerosene price has also been cut by Rs3.82 per litre.
The new prices of high-speed diesel and light diesel are Rs289.71 and Rs175.93 per litre respectively.
The previous rate of high-speed diesel was Rs3296.71 per litre and light diesel Rs180.45 per litre.
The finance division issued a notification of the new prices of petroleum products.
As per the notification, an unchanged price of petrol is 281.34 per litre.
