Islamabad (NNP) The Election Commission has announced a significant increase in the country’s voter population, which now stands at 131,531,645. This marks a notable rise in the number of registered voters ahead of the upcoming elections.According to the latest figures, the number of male voters across the country is 70,718,723, while the number of female voters totals 60,812,922, reflecting a growing participation in the democratic process.In Islamabad, the capital city, the total number of registered voters has climbed to 1,154,471. Out of these, 605,031 are male voters, while 549,440 are female voters.Punjab, the largest province, leads with 74,891,495 registered voters. Of these, 39,929,617 are male, and 34,961,878 are female voters, contributing to nearly half of the nation’s electorate.In Balochistan, the voter count has reached 5,494,710, with 3,080,135 male voters and 2,414,575 female voters registered.Khyber Pakhtunkhwa follows with 24,001,742 voters, comprising 12,190,502 male voters and 10,211,240 female voters.Meanwhile, Sindh has recorded 27,589,227 registered voters. The province’s male voter count stands at 14,913,438, while female voters make up 12,675,789.
This newly released data highlights the ongoing expansion of the voter base across the country, indicating a robust and active electorate ready to participate in the democratic process.
