Uzbekistan and Pakistan Deepen Security Cooperation

Uzbekistan and Pakistan have taken another step toward strengthening bilateral security ties following a substantive meeting with Muhammad Khurram Agha, First Deputy Minister of Interior of Pakistan.During the talks, both sides agreed to expand practical cooperation in combating international terrorism, organized crime, cybercrime, and illicit drug trafficking. They also emphasized the importance of developing collaboration in cybersecurity and digital forensics.Special attention was given to enhancing security at public events and tourist sites, exchanging best practices, and advancing the legal and regulatory framework governing cooperation.The dialogue reaffirmed that trust, clarity, and a results-oriented approach are becoming defining principles of the growing partnership between Uzbekistan and Pakistan.
