Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has welcomed US Secretary of State Anthony Blanken to Al Ala winter camp on Monday.
US Secretary of State Anthony Blanken is on his fourth visit to the Middle East since the start of the war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza.
The Saudi Crown Prince and the US Secretary of State discussed the regional and international situation and the efforts to restore regional and global peace and stability.
Special attention was paid to the recent situation in the Gaza Strip and its surroundings and the efforts being made in relation to them.
The Saudi Crown Prince emphasized to stop the military operations, to accelerate the efforts made for humanitarian needs and to create a favorable environment for the restoration of peace and stability.
The Saudi crown prince said that “it is necessary to establish sustainable and fair justice and restore the peace process that gives the Palestinian people their legitimate rights.”
On this occasion, Saudi Ambassador to the United States Princess Reema bint Bandar, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Prince Muhammad bin Abdul Rahman, Minister of National Guards Prince Abdullah bin Bandar, Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan, Minister of Culture Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan and Minister of State and Advisor to the National Security Dr. Musaed Al-Aiban was also present.
Michael Retney, the ambassador appointed by the United States of America to the kingdom, and the members of the accompanying delegation also participated in the meeting.
Earlier, when the US Foreign Minister arrived in Al-Ala, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan and other officials welcomed him.
Earlier, the US Secretary of State Blanken met with the President of the Emirates Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed in Abu Dhabi and emphasized the importance of urgently solving the humanitarian needs in Gaza.
Antony Blanken also visited Jordan and Qatar on Sunday.
He also visited the Regional Coordination Warehouse of the World Food Program in Amman where trucks are arriving to deliver aid to Gaza through Rafah Crossing and Karam Salem Crossing.
