Congratulatory messages have been pouring in for newlyweds Kiran Ashfaque and Hamza Ali Chaudhary! As images and videos from their stunning ceremonies have been coming out, many from the Pakistani entertainment industry are taking to their Instagram Stories to wish the happy couple the absolute best on their journey.
Taking to her IG Story, Nazihs Jahangir shared an image of the radiant bride. She penned, “Jaan meri, Mubarak (My life, congratulations)” alongside. Urwa Hocane shared a clip from Kiran’s wedding ceremony, writing alongside on her Instagram Story, “MashAllah, MashAllah. So happy for you. May God keep you two very happy.” Responding to the star, Kiran wrote, “Thank you so much jaan. I wish you were [here] Urwa. Love you.”
Aliza Sultan, too, wished Kiran the absolute best on her big day. “MashAllah! Nazar e bad dur, hasid ki nazar dur (May all sources of the evil eye and envy keep away). So pretty!” she said. Kiran responded, saying, “Thank you, sister. I wish you’d come. May God bless your destiny as well.”
A series of recent posts on her Instagram, either posted by herself or wherein she was tagged, seemed to commemorate Kiran’s big day. Kiran’s “bestie,” Sahar Anas tagged her in a collaborator post where they were doing a reel trend, transitioning from routine wear to wedding attire.
Sahar used hashtags like “Kiran Hamza Ki Shadi” and “Bestie Hitched” to convey exactly what was going on. The tags also indicated that Kiran wore a self-created white wedding dress. For yet another post where Kiran and Hamza could be seen looking snug and happy, Sahar penned, “Cannot put my feelings into words today. But all I know is she deserves the best of this world. My strong, strong girl. May happiness and peace be your destiny.”
Kiran has since gone on to share numerous images of her and her lawyer husband from their wedding. Decked in white, the bride was all smiles as she delicately placed a kiss on her husband’s nose in one image, and allowed him to lead her forth in another. The duo gazed intently at each other in all the pictures and seemed to twin in their white attire.
This came after Kiran and former husband, actor Imran Ashraf, parted ways in October 2022. “With a heavy heart, we announce that we have mutually and respectfully decided to part ways,” their Instagram post read. “The primary concern for both of us will remain our son, Roham, for whom we will continue to be the best possible parents.” The statement further read, “We request the fans, well-wishers and the media to support us during this difficult time and give us the privacy we need to move on. Love and respect for all, Kiran and Imran.”
In a Q&A session on Instagram, Kiran also revealed details about their divorce and her life post-split. She hinted at differences between them, emphasised the importance of not tolerating disrespect, and mentioned that red flags should be a signal to run. Ashfaque also addressed the tendency to blame women after divorce. “All that glitters is not gold,” she clarified after Imran’s fans blamed her, asserting that their divorce was not one-sided.
The former couple, which tied the knot in 2018, are parents to a son, Roham. The speculations about dents in their relationship began when Kiran changed her name on Instagram from Kiran Imran Ashraf to Kiran Ashfaque Hussein Dar. She later deleted all the pictures with Imran as well.
