Islamabad (News Network Pakistan)- The 26th senate meeting of the University of Poonch Rawalakot convened under the leadership of President Azad Kashmir, Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry, showcasing a collective commitment to advancing education.
President Chaudhry, alongside esteemed attendees including Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Zikria Zakir and representatives from the Higher Education Commission, emphasized the pivotal role of education in societal progress. With a budget of 3.60 billion rupees allocated to the project, President Chaudhry urged expedited efforts to ensure its timely completion, signaling a commitment to providing students with state-of-the-art facilities conducive to learning and innovation.
“Barrister Chaudhry, while stressing the need for enhancing standard and quality of education, said, ‘I want to see the University of Poonch among top ranking universities of the world like Oxford, Cambridge and Harvard’,” remarked a senior official.
