The Caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan, Anwar Haq Kakar, met the representatives of Middle East and North African Muslim countries MENA (Middle East and North Africa).
The press release issued by the Prime Minister’s Office on Wednesday stated that the meeting took place in the morning in which Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Syria , the ambassadors of the United Arab Emirates and Yemen were included.
Foreign Minister, Prime Minister’s Secretary and Foreign Secretary also participated in this meeting.
The Caretaker Prime Minister briefed Safra on Pakistan’s position regarding the worsening situation of human rights in the Palestinian territories and other issues.
On this occasion, Islamophobia and other challenges faced by the Muslim world were also discussed.
Anurul Haq Kakar urged the Muslim world to continue working collectively through the OIC to tackle such complex issues.
The Caretaker Prime Minister also appreciated Safra’s efforts to improve relations between Islamabad and their countries.
At the end of the meeting, Safra thanked the Caretaker Prime Minister and expressed his commitment to support bilateral relations with Pakistan.
