Syed Bilal Izzat Naqvi Elected President as OGDC Housing Society Panel Wins Clean Sweep

Syed Bilal Izzat Naqvi has been elected President of the OGDC Employees Cooperative Housing Society with an overwhelming majority, as his entire panel achieved a clean sweep in the society’s elections. The polling was held at the F-8 Markaz Football Ground, Islamabad, under the supervision of the Office of the Deputy Commissioner Islamabad / Registrar Cooperative Societies Department, ICT, ensuring full transparency and adherence to electoral regulations.

According to the official results, Muhammad Rasheed Janjua was elected General Secretary, Syed Qaiser Abbas Naqvi as Vice President, and Raja Junaid as Finance Secretary. The newly elected Executive Body Members include Ehtisham-ul-Haq and Advocate Raja Ahsan Rasheed Janjua, along with Muhammad Ali, Yasir Arafat Khan, and Asim Muhammad Jan.

Expressing gratitude to the society’s members, newly elected President Syed Bilal Izzat Naqvi stated that the decisive victory reflects the confidence and trust placed in his leadership. He reaffirmed his commitment to transparent governance, financial discipline, improvement of basic facilities, timely completion of development projects, and prompt resolution of members’ concerns.

He further emphasized that all decisions would be made through consultation and collective wisdom, with the objective of modernising the society’s administrative and residential framework. The new leadership, he added, will work tirelessly to enhance members’ welfare, ensure peace and security, and improve overall living standards, aiming to transform the society into a model residential community.
