Islamabad (NNP) Sindh Governor Kamran Tesori was warmly welcomed by the Ethiopian Ambassador upon his arrival at the Ethiopian Embassy. During the visit, Governor Tesori expressed his deep regret and condolences over the tragic loss of life due to the recent landslide in Ethiopia.
In a show of solidarity, the Governor conveyed his heartfelt sympathies to the government and people of Ethiopia during this difficult time. Ambassador Jamal Baker briefed Governor Tesori on the ongoing relief and rescue efforts undertaken by the Ethiopian government to permanently relocate those affected by the disaster.
The Ambassador highlighted the Green Legacy Initiative, spearheaded by Ethiopian Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed, which aims to address climate challenges and enhance food security within Ethiopia and the surrounding region.
