Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that there will be a quality check of flour, ghee and other items and action will be taken against any deficiency.
While visiting the utility stores in Islamabad, he said that the price of ghee has been reduced by 100 rupees while the price of dal and other items has been reduced by 30%.
The Prime Minister said that along with 300 units of utility stores, 1,200 mobile units have also been set up, making the items available at low cost to those registered under BISP.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that 4 crore people will benefit from Benazir Income Support Program. In Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir, additional Rs.2 thousand is being given under BISP.
He said that the government will give relief to the people in collaboration with the institutions during Ramadan.
