Qatar Celebrates National Day, Strengthening Ties with Pakistan

Islamabad, Pakistan – December 10, 2024: The State of Qatar celebrated its National Day, commemorating the country’s founding by Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammed bin Thani. The event was attended by esteemed guests, including Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.

In a message, HE the Ambassador of Qatar emphasized the country’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations with Pakistan. “The State of Qatar is keen to enhance cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in a wide range of fields,” the Ambassador stated.

The Ambassador highlighted Qatar’s progress in humanitarian, economic, social, and environmental development, making it a model for sustainable growth. Qatar’s effective humanitarian role, supporting communities affected by conflicts, disasters, and poverty, was also underscored.

The bilateral relations between Qatar and Pakistan have seen remarkable progress in trade, investment, education, culture, and other areas of common interest. Recent high-level talks confirmed the shared vision of enhancing cooperation and boosting the strategic partnership between the two countries.
