Islamabad:Political parties have submitted their priority lists to the Election Commission of Pakistan on the issue of reserved seats for women.
The People’s Party declared Hina Rabbani Khar as the number one candidate for the specific seats in the National Assembly from Punjab, Samina Khalid Gharki at number two in the priority list, Prantasha Doultana at number three, Neelam Jabbar at number four, Shaughta Chaudhary at number five and Syeda. Samna Raza’s name was also given in the priority list.
PML-N has also submitted a list of candidates to the Election Commission, Tahira Aurangzeb, Shaista Parvez, Maryam Ongzeb, Nuzhat Sadiq have been nominated for specific seats, Musrat Asif Khawaja, Seema Jilani, Shaza Khawaja, The names of Rumina Khurshid Alam, Wajiha Qamar, Zeb Jafar are also included in the priority list.
The names of Karan Dar, Anusha Rehman Khan, Zahra Wadud Fatemi, Asia Naz Tanoli, Saba Sadiq, Farah Naz Akbar, Shahnaz Saleem are also included in the priority list, while the names of Munia Iqbal, Ifat Naeem, Sameen Akhtar Niazi were also given on the reserved seats.
Istakaam Pakistan Party also submitted its list, IPP gave names of Manza Hasan, Firdous Ashiq Awan and Asia Azim in the priority list.
