Islamabad: Under the auspices of the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA), the NOOR-E-QALAM Calligraphy Students’ Exhibition, showcasing the creative works of students from a six-month calligraphy course, was inaugurated at the National Art Gallery, Islamabad.

The opening ceremony of the NOOR-E-QALAM Exhibition was inaugurated by Farha Naz Akber, Parliamentary Secretary, National Heritage and Culture Division.
Speaking on the occasion, Farha Naz Akber appreciated the NOOR-E-QALAM Exhibition and expressed her pleasure at being part of such a visually and spiritually enriching display. She highlighted that the students’ depiction of Quranic verses and the beautiful rendering of the names of Allah reflect

dedication, discipline, and artistic excellence. She further expressed hope that these young calligraphers will represent Pakistan at both national and international forums through their creative endeavors.
The chief guest also appreciated the dedicated efforts of the Class Coordinator, Ms. Noshaba Naz, for successfully organizing and managing the course and exhibition, and congratulated the Class Instructor, Mr. Shabbir Ahmed Zia, for his valuable guidance and mentorship in nurturing the students’ calligraphic skills.
The NOOR-E-QALAM Calligraphy Exhibition will remain open to the public at the National Art Gallery, PNCA, from 16 December to 22 December.
