ISLAMABAD: Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of the Independence Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina called “Ko Vadis, Ida?” Hosted a screening of the film titled The film is not only a cinematic masterpiece but also a painful reminder of the Srebrenica genocide, the worst atrocity on European soil since World War II.
The exhibition was hosted by the Embassy of Bosnia in cooperation with the Ministry of Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage. PNCA Auditorium. In his opening speech, Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina H.E. E. Emin Cohodarevic expressed his views and said that in such a festive moment, I think it is important to refer to the current status and perspective of bilateral relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
It is an indisputable fact that the relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan are special: along with the constant support that Pakistan gives to Bosnia and Herzegovina on the path to freedom and the preservation of democracy. Our relationships are extraordinarily dynamic, constantly evolving and diversifying. Political, defense, economic, cultural or social, there is not a single field where we are not able to set positive examples and good practices. I am confident that the friendship between the people of the two countries and the bilateral relations between the two governments will continue to grow and reach new heights. Who picks up the film. How many things would be different if we had more compassion and solidarity? Did this tragedy have such a terrible outcome? Ambassador Cohodarevic expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome and indicated that during his mandate, he will work on further development and promotion of political, economic, educational and cultural relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The screening was enjoyed by a packed house that included several EU dignitaries, African diplomats, civil society and media representatives.
