Pakistan Reaffirms Support for Kashmir in Meeting Between Syed Bazal Ali Naqvi and Syed Khurshid Shah

Islamabad (NNP) Azad Jammu and Kashmir’s Minister for Social Welfare and Women’s Development, Syed Bazal Ali Naqvi, held a meeting with senior People’s Party leader and Member of the National Assembly Syed Khurshid Shah on Thursday. In the meeting, Shah reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering political, diplomatic, and moral support for the people of Kashmir, highlighting the critical role of the Pakistan Army in defending the nation’s interests.

Naqvi emphasized the Pakistan People’s Party’s (PPP) long-standing dedication to the Kashmir cause, rooted in the legacy of the party’s founder, Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. He noted that Bhutto championed the Kashmir issue on the global stage, challenging Indian diplomacy. Naqvi further praised former President Asif Ali Zardari for advancing a politics of tolerance, love, and unity, which, according to him, has been vital in strengthening democracy within Pakistan.

Reflecting on the future, Naqvi expressed confidence that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will continue to work for the people of Azad Kashmir. He acknowledged the sacrifices made by the PPP for the rule of law, vowing that the party’s commitment to the Kashmir issue remains steadfast.
