NNPakistan 30 July Islamabad -Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) has launched a miniature painting workshop running from Monday, 28th July 2025 to 7th August, 2025, as part of the 79th Independence Day celebrations, drawing participants from diverse professional backgrounds including engineers, doctors, advocates, architects, and artists.
The workshop focuses on traditional miniature techniques, including monochrome (SUFFAID QALAM) and multicoloured (GUCHRANG) styles, reflecting growing interest in Pakistan’s cultural heritage
Ms. Farrah an acclaimed visual artist and Associate Professor at COMSATS University Islamabad, is conducting the workshop. A graduate of National College of Arts (NCA) Lahore with expertise in Mughal miniature painting, she has exhibited in over 160 shows worldwide and received the President’s Award for Pride of Performance in 2024.
Her works are featured in prominent collections, including the World Bank and PNCA, National Art Gallery, permanent collection.
The workshop will conclude with an exhibition of participants works and all attendees will receive certificates of participation. This initiative is part of PNCA’s efforts to revive traditional art practices and promote cultural exchange among professionals.
