Bethak Awanabad (Namah Nigar) – Malik Habib Awan, son of 1971 war hero Subedar Syed Muhammad Shaheed Satara Jurat and a respected political and social figure, strongly condemned India’s continued aggression toward Pakistan and Kashmir in the wake of the self-inflicted Pahalgam incident.
Speaking in a private conversation with journalists, Malik Habib Awan lauded the Pakistan Army for its professionalism and restraint during recent escalations, particularly highlighting the success of Operation Banyan Marsus. “We are grateful to the Almighty for the success of our forces. The historic victory over Indian aggression reflects the exceptional capability and discipline of our armed forces,” he stated.
He emphasized that the Kashmir dispute remains central to peace in the region and called for its resolution in line with the aspirations of the Kashmiri people and the United Nations Security Council resolutions. “The solution to the Kashmir issue is inevitable for lasting regional peace. India must engage in meaningful and continuous dialogue to resolve all outstanding disputes,” Awan urged.
Commenting on the conduct of both nations during recent hostilities, he noted, “Pakistan has set a remarkable example of humanity by targeting only Indian military installations, whereas India chose to attack civilian areas and places of worship, violating international norms.”
He also called for the full implementation of the Indus Waters Treaty and expressed pride in the Pakistani Air Force, stating, “Our falcons have shattered Indian arrogance. The enemy now regrets its reckless actions.”
Malik Habib Awan concluded by reiterating the nation’s unwavering pride in the Pakistan Army, calling it the bedrock of the country’s security and sovereignty. “The entire nation stands united behind its armed forces. They are our pride and the symbol of our survival,” he affirmed.
