Islamabad (NNP) President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) has appointed Ms. Khoula Khan as the Convenor of the PTI AJK Women’s Wing. This appointment was made under the authority granted by Article C-II/2/3/C of the party constitution.
Ms. Khoula Khan, the wife of Sardar M. Saleem Khan Sadozai, will now lead the efforts to organize and manage the membership and activities for women within the region of Azad Kashmir and for Jammu and Kashmir refugees residing in Pakistan. Her role will be pivotal in mobilizing and strengthening the women’s wing, ensuring their active participation in the party’s activities and furthering their representation.
The decision underscores PTI’s commitment to empowering women and enhancing their role in political and social spheres. Ms. Khan’s leadership is expected to bring a new dynamism to the women’s wing, fostering greater engagement and advocacy on issues pertinent to women from these regions.
