Ministry of Religious Affairs strongly denies negative propaganda and fake news related to Hajj arrangements on social media

NNPakistan Makkah: May 31, 2025 The Ministry of Religious Affairs has strongly denied the negative propaganda and fake news related to Hajj arrangements on social media. According to the spokesperson for Religious Affairs, another fake news has recently emerged in which a catering company “Baharat Asia” is being propagated without any investigation due to the similarity of its name that an Indian company has been awarded the contract to provide food for Pakistani Hajj pilgrims, which is completely baseless.

The situation is that according to the documents of the Saudi Ministry of Commerce, the owner of the aforementioned company is a Saudi woman, Fatima Muhammad Atyan Al-Kaabi, while the legal lawyer/manager of this company, Adel bin Suhaim bin Ali Al-Kaabi, is also a Saudi citizen. Also, according to the Arabic grammar, with the addition of the letter “alif”, “spices or spices of Asia” means “spices of Asia”.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs clarifies that the system of providing three meals a day to more than 88,000 Hajj pilgrims during their nearly 40-day stay according to Pakistani taste has been successfully running for the last 12 years. 99.4 percent of the pilgrims are quite happy with the quality, taste and service of the food, which is proof of the success of this system. Therefore, the public is requested not to be a part of baseless propaganda.
