According to the sources, the priority committee meeting will be held today to determine the current and development budget for the next financial year.
According to sources in the Ministry of Finance, the meetings of the priority committee will continue till March 30 under the chairmanship of the Special Secretary, Ministry of Finance.
The committee will estimate the federal current and development budget for the next financial year.
Apart from this, the committee will also review the current and development budget of the federal ministries for the current financial year.
According to sources, the committee will also review the needs of grants and subsidies for the next financial year.
The committee prepares the budget estimates for the salaries and other expenses of the federal ministries and departments.
