ISLAMBAD (NNP) Chairperson Khan of Mong Foundation, Ms. Khola Khan, expressed deep sorrow over the martyrdom of Iran’s President Ibrahim Raisi, describing it as an irreplaceable loss to the Muslim Ummah. Ms. Khan highlighted Raisi’s efforts towards promoting unity among Muslim nations and improving relations with regional countries, including historic agreements with Pakistan during his recent visit.
Speaking to the media yesterday, Ms. Khan emphasized the strong religious and cultural ties between Iran and Pakistan, asserting that President Raisi was not only a great leader and wise politician but also a staunch supporter of the Islamic bloc. She noted that Raisi was widely regarded as the biggest opponent of Israel and a formidable barrier to its expansionist ambitions.
Ms. Khan lamented the void left by Raisi’s death, stating that his unwavering support for oppressed nations around the world made him a beacon of hope. She stressed that the Islamic world, especially in current times, needed fearless and insightful leaders like Raisi.
“The martyrdom of President Raisi is a significant loss for Islam and the global Muslim community,” Ms. Khan said. “His commitment to the issues of Kashmir and Palestine, and his steadfast support for oppressed nations, will be deeply missed.”
She concluded by praying for the complete forgiveness and mercy for Raisi and his companions. “May Allah grant them eternal peace,” she said.
