The residents of Hazro town of Attock took out a massive rally with the title of “Pakistan Zindabad rally” to demonstrate public support for the armed forces in the wake of warmongering from India. The event drew a diverse crowd, including hundreds of local residents, former servicemen, community elders, youth, students, religious scholars, and political representatives. The rally led by former federal minister and Chairman “Haqooq-e-Attock” Malik Amis Aslam Khan and Khadm-E-Chhachh Changaiz Khan movement was taken out from Ghourgushti Chowk and culminated at Toll Tax Chowk which was attended by representatives of various political parties, religious leaders, lawyers, social activists, political figures, traders, and youth of the area. Amidst the rally, passionate social workers brandished placards and banners adorned with slogans, emphasizing solidarity with the Pakistan armed forces. The air echoed with resolute chants in favor of the armed forces, national unity, and integrity, while also condemning the Indian government for its baseless allegations against Pakistan in the wake of the Pahalgam attack. The participants of the rally also announced support for the Kashmiris’ struggle for the right to self-determination and said India should stop bloodshed in the occupied Kashmir.
Speakers at the event said that Pakistan’s armed forces and its people stood ready to defend the nation against any Indian military adventurism. They said that the people stood by the armed forces at this critical juncture. Former federal minister Malik Amin Aslam Khan while addressing the rally has said that India’s narrative on terrorism has collapsed on the international stage while any Indian aggression would be met with a strong and befitting response, as the entire nation stands firmly behind the Pakistan Army.
The famous political figure of Chhachh area, Changaiz Khan while addressing the rally has expressed full confidence in the leadership and capabilities of Army Chief General Asim Munir, stating, “This time, India will be given a lesson on land, sea and air.” He criticized the Indian government for hurling threats at Pakistan and expressed solidarity with the armed forces. Well-known journalist Nisar Ali Khan former Chairman UC Khalid Zaman Khaliqi, Ishfaq Khan, Malik Sammar Abbas and others also address the participants on this occasion.
