Law must be restored and all the steps taken against the independence of the judiciary must be reversed.Sardar Abdul

The newly elected Chairman of the Pakistan Assembly of Muslim Youth (PAMI), Sardar Abdul Raziq Khan Advocate, said that after the brilliant victory of May 10 and the strong demonstration of national unity, May 9 should be forgotten and all political prisoners, including Imran Khan, should be released.

In his important statement, he said that during the recent Indo-Pak war, the nation, from Karachi to Khyber and from Kashmir to Gilgit-Baltistan, supported its armed forces like a leaden wall, overcoming all internal differences and political turmoil. The gap between the army and the people caused by the political interference and actions of the last two years has disappeared in the blink of an eye, however, this environment can only be maintained if steps are taken to maintain national unity by reviewing internal political policies. He said that the May 9 cases contain 25% truth and 75% politics. These cases lost their legal and moral significance at the same time when, instead of focusing on the real accused, they were used for political revenge and to exclude a specific political party and its candidates from the electoral process. PAMI Chairman Sardar Abdul Raziq further said that to bring political stability to the country, the constitution and law must be restored and all the steps taken against the independence of the judiciary must be reversed.
